Footings/Foundation Walls

The start of most any construction project. We have experience constructing footings and foundation walls in many different environments. Typical spread footings, grade beam/pile cap, and footings placed directly on ledge (bedrock) are all scenarios we are familiar with. We have panels from 2’ in height up to 10’ to accommodate any height foundation walls. While we are known for custom home foundations, we have completed plenty of subdivision work and put the same amount of effort and quality into every job. We have also done quite a few foundations under houses that have been lifted up and also pier foundations in flood zones along the Connecticut shoreline.

Additions

Putting an addition on a house might not be as big of a job as a new house, but they bring a whole new set of challenges. Making sure everything new is aligned correctly with what is already there can take a lot of critical thinking.

Architectural Concrete

Over the years we’ve been asked to do some architectural concrete to dress up poured walls that are going to be exposed. Lining the panels with rough sawn lumber to mimic a concrete pour from a century ago has become popular. We have developed a system to achieve the look you want.
